Vegetables are for pansies, Real Men Grow Roses

Of the approx 27 rose bushes I planted in the front yard, three are a variety called Gemini.

They have a nice long lasting two tone flower that starts like the pic first pic here, and the entire blossom slowly darkens with age towards the color currently that's at the outermost petals like in the second pic.

Scent on the Gemini's tends to be light, but some bushes give almost no scent. They are what is referred to as an everblooming variety, which means they will put off flowers the entire growing season. If you prune them regularly you'll stimulate more frequent flowering.

I grow flowers whose petals open to reveal their fragrant pink middle.

Kenneth grows long rigid vegetables.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
